Hans Blix

Hans Blix, the former chief UN weapons inspector, was on my KMOX show today to talk about dealing with Iran and North Korea when it comes to nuclear weapons.

I asked Blix about new revelations that the Bush administration may have inflated claims about North Korea's ability to enrich uranium over the last five years, and the impact on the nuclear scenario in that part of the world -- and the similarities to the way Washington has dealt with (or rather, refused to deal with) Tehran.

Listen.

Blix is now with the Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission. He will appear at McKendree College's Distinguished Speaker Series on Tuesday, March 6th.
