You Be The Jury

Susan McBride is suing her employer, the city of Detroit, claiming that a co-worker's strong perfume makes it impossible for her to do her job.

The problem started last summer, when a new co-worker transferred into the city planning department. The complaint alleges, "This employee not only wore a strong scent, but also plugged in a room deodorizer. Ms. McBride was overcome by the smell almost instantly, causing her to go home sick." The co-worker -- who must be covering up a serious stank -- gave up the deodorizer, but not the perfume. Susan says she's missed work, required medical treatment, and has to suspend fertility treatments over this problem.

There's more of the story here.
