    Dave Barry, Historian

Dave Barry returned to my KMOX show this afternoon to talk about his new book, "Dave Barry's History of the Millennium (So Far)."

We discussed some of the stories that have made this year so much fun, and reached back for classics from 2000 like Elian Gonzalez and the Bush-Gore election, both of which kept Florida at the top of the Knuckleheads In The News leaderboard.

    Listen.

Dave has another book coming out in November, "Peter and The Secret of Rundoon," the third in the series of Peter Pan prequels that he and Ridley Pearson have written. They'll both be on my KMOX show on November 14th to talk about it, and that night I'll emcee their appearance at the St. Louis County Library.

I saw a commercial that said laughter can add 8 years to a person’s life. I think you just added a couple of months to mine!
