This morning on WLS/Chicago, I talked to comedy writer Jon Macks about his life at "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in the weeks since the strike was settled. Since Jon wrote much of the Academy Awards telecast, he also shared some backstage stories involving Jack Nicholson, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Scarlett Johansson. Listen.

Paul,
I know now just how addicted I am…there are not many people I get up at 5 a.m. for, but I’ve done it two days in a row to hear you! I even used the “room monitor” on my cordless phone handsets so I could hear you wherever I was in the house. Having you on with some of your regulars (Kate, John, Aaron) has been like comfort food for my ears.
Hope to hear you back on the air some time soon.
Just listened to you on the air. I was only able to catch 30 min due to activities at work but how awesome it was to hear you voice!!! thanks for letting us know! Miss you very much!!!!!!
