Over the weekend, my wife and I saw "The Bank Job," a clever British movie about, well, a bank robbery -- and so much more. There's extortion, mobsters, amateur thieves, sex, violence, and a dead ringer for Catherine Zeta-Jones. Pretty good stuff, even if you don't know anyone who's in it.
Before the movie, one of the inevitable half-dozen trailers was for "Righteous Kill," starring Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino as two cops working together. In watching it, I could only imagine director Jon Avnet giving these guys the motivation for how to play their characters -- by telling them just be DeNiro and Pacino and do the exact same thing they've done in dozens of other movies.
See for yourself, and notice Pacino chewing gum a la Frank Caliendo's impression of him...
