Meet the Leningrad Cowboys, a rock group from Finland that performs in English, backed up by the Red Army Choir, which was once an official part of the Soviet military but has continued to perform since the fall of the Iron Curtain.
Stay for the finish, which is a little different than Lynyrd Skynyrd's original [thanks to Ross Brittain for tipping me to this]...

Paul,
What are you doing up at 3:01 AM!??? (I was, too)
I have to tell you that if music had more control in our world, we would be a lot safer and happier. The looks on the Russians singer's faces compares to the faces of the kid's choirs at churches and synagogues (sp?) when they perform for their parents and friends. And, anybody that does not get a kick out of Lynyrd Skynyrd's music and lyrics and performing a live concert needs to get a life!
