New Show Debuts Today

At 6pm today, I'm debuting a new poker radio show with Dennis Phillips, the St. Louisan who came in third at the 2008 World Series Of Poker Main Event (you may have seen him on ESPN, which reruns it constantly). The show is called The Lumiere Place Final Table and will air Tuesdays 6-7pm CT on KFNS (590 The Fan) here in St. Louis and on KFNS.com everywhere.

For the first show, we'll go into detail about Dennis' experience at the WSOP, plus his recent tournament adventures in Chile and the Bahamas. We'll also have a strategy segment with poker coach Joe McGowan, discuss poker and the law with attorney Josh Schindler, and have weekly visits with some of the best-known poker pros.

We're also going to include lots of your questions via e-mail to dennisphillipspoker@gmail.com. Dennis will be happy to give his opinion on situations you've found yourself in at the tables (send the details of the hand, if you like), or on strategy for tournaments vs. cash games, or anything else.

We appreciate the support of our title sponsor, Lumiere Place Casino & Hotel (where both of us have played frequently), as well as our other charter sponsors: PokerStars, Broadway Truck Center, and Briddell Remodeling.

Tune in Tuesday night at 6 on KFNS, or catch up with the podcasts we'll post the day after the show airs.
