The Sitcom Network

The funniest sitcom scene of the past week was this one from "30 Rock" in which Tina Fey's Liz Lemon meets Aaron Sorkin while waiting for an interview to become a writer on "The Sing-Off."

What made this so meta was the back-story of Sorkin's last series, "Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip," about the behind-the-scenes life of a comedy show. It debuted at the same time as "30 Rock," also ostensibly about the behind-the-scenes life of a TV comedy show. Sorkin's show fizzled and died in a season, while Fey's is still going strong in year five. Plus, there's a nod to the famous walk-and-talk sequences Sorkin created for "The West Wing" and "Sports Night"...
