Astronaut Mark Kelly

Here's my conversation with astronaut Mark Kelly, commander of the Endeavour space shuttle missions, husband of former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, and author of the children's book, "Moustronaut."  We talked about Mark and Gabby watching the Endeavour fly overhead on its way to the museum where it will be exhibited and her recitation of the Pledge Of Allegiance at the Democratic National Convention, then moved on to last night's SpaceX launch of a cargo capsule headed for the International Space Station, his relationship with the late Neil Armstrong, and the future of manned space flight. Then he explained how a mouse on board one of his missions was the inspiration for his book.Listen, then click here to subscribe to these podcasts via iTunes!
