Freedom University


Since 2011, Georgia has prohibited illegal immigrants and their children from attending the state's five major universities and colleges, so some of the faculty at the University of Georgia started an alternative program called Freedom University, which doesn't require citizenship documentation. Today on America weekend, I invited one of its founders, Pam Voekel, to explain what the school offers, what the state's reaction to it has been, and why they keep its location a secret.
