Mac King's Guinea Pig

When people ask me which shows they should see in Las Vegas, I always tell them to go to Mac King's comedy/magic show. He's onstage for two shows a day, five afternoons a week -- yes, afternoons -- and not only does clever tricks, but also has the best audience rapport of any magician I've ever seen. And Mac's show is family-friendly.

Last Monday, Mac appeared on Penn and Teller's TV show, "Fool Us" (which, incidentally, is getting The CW network its best ratings in years). Because he's a longtime friend of theirs, Mac knew he wasn't going to fool the pros, but he did a new routine that still dazzled the audience -- and it was nice of them to let Mac use their show as a promotional platform that will surely fill more seats in his theater at Harrah's...
